#37 Reloaded Lives Up to Its Name as Daigo Performs Another Full Parry

This weekend will be etched into fighting game history as another historic moment as famed competitor Daigo Umehara demonstrating why he’s still an amazing player. Thousands of gamers tuned in to watch #37Reloaded, a tournament organized by Mike Watson as a homage to some of the old-school classics including Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Capcom vs. SNK 2, and the iconic game responsible for EVO Moment #37, SFIII: Third Strike.

The original event, which took place 10 years ago was a nail-biting, unbelievable moment as Daigo masterfully completes a full parry against followed by a climatic Super Finish to K.O. Justin Wong’s Chun Li.

Due to flight complications, Daigo wasn’t able to compete in any of the tournaments, however he still delivered an amazing series of exhibition matches that included a runback against his longtime rival Justin Wong. It’s a new epic clip that has to be seen to be believed.
