Anti-Video Game Politician Leland Yee Gets Arrested for Corruption

Talk about a potential hypocrisy.
California state Senator Leland Yee, a politician who is known to gamers for pushing an unconstitutional law targeted towards video games, was arrested for corruption charges on Wednesday. According to NBC Bay Area, The charges against Senator Yee include “conspiracy to traffic in firearms without a license, and to illegally import firearms as well as a scheme to defraud citizens of honest services”.
This is not Yee’s first arrest. ABC 7 San Francisco revealed that he was once arrested on suspicion stealing suntan oil and was pulled over more than once on suspicion of cruising for hookers.
In the past Senator Yee attempted to push a violent video game law so ridiculous, even comic book legend Stan Lee spoke out against it, warning that the law was a threat on the First Amendment.
If Yee is convicted of said charges, not only could he face jail time, his already tainted campaign against violent video games would be plagued with the image of being backed by a politician who participated in the real life version of the crime he was supposedly trying to protect children from.
