Call of Duty: Strike Team Deployed to Apple Mobile Devices

A new exclusive title. . .on the iOS? Believe it.

It’s a bit surprising that we haven’t heard much about this newest addition to the Call of Duty legacy, especially when Call of Duty: Ghosts is just around the corner. Activision has announced Call of Duty: Strike Team is now available for iOS platforms (no word on an Android release), which is perfect for avid fanatics who need to get their fix on the go. Strike Team puts players in charge of operatives dispatched to quell global conflicts.

In an effort to expand the gaming experience, players can switch between first or third-person view on the fly. Fans should expect to find all the perks and nuances that have become customary in the console and PC counterparks, including customizable skills, loadouts, a robust survival mode, as well as online leaderboards. Existing players who have an active registered Call of Duty account can sign-in and receive a variety of exclusive in-game bonuses. Call of Duty: Strike Team was developed by Activision’s new mobile development studio, The Blast Furnance, led by industry veterans Mark Washbrook of Rockstar London and Gordon Hall, formerly from Rockst Leeds.
