Dota 2 Championships Sell Out Major Arena

Dota 2 is doing it right.

The 2014 Dota 2 Championships, also known as “The International”, sold out a major arena in just one hour after the tickets went on sale.

According to onGamers, The International sold approximately 10,000 tickets. The prices ranged from $99 for general admission to $499 for VIP tickets. Anyone who wants tickets to the Dota 2 Championships may have to turn to eBay, where the tickets are much more expensive.

This year's Dota 2 International will take place July 18-21 at the Key Arena at Seattle Center, the former home of the Seattle SuperSonics.
