Fire Emblem’s Lucina and Robin Announced for Super Smash Bros.

Oh, and Captain Falcon is Back

On Monday, Nintendo announced Fire Emblem Awakening’s Lucina and Robin in Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and 3DS. F-Zero’s Captain Falcon was also announced as a returning character.

Robin, who is a customizable character in Fire Emblem Awakening, is a skilled tactician who uses both spell- and sword-based attacks. There will be both male and female versions of Robin putting him/her alongside Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager.

Lucina, who bares quite a resemblance to Marth, inherits her idol’s move sets. Nintendo put our a trailer showing what the two new characters can do. It also features fan favorite Captain Falcon, but it’s obvious the Fire Emblem characters are the stars of trailer
