Hands-On: Hitman Sniper

Hitman Sniper is a mobile game that does justice to the console-based Hitman franchise. This new title can be enjoyed even if it’s your first Hitman game. When I played the demo it was very hard to put down. And the best part about the game, it’s free to play!

Hitman Sniper is an off-shoot to the Hitman Sniper Challenge bonus game that comes with Hitman: Absolution. You, as Agent 47 take on missions where you have to eliminate assigned targets. You can kill the main target and end the mission right away. Although the real goal is to shoot the other targets such as bodyguards and associates of the main target, boosting your score. Bonus points are awarded for killing them in style(such as double headshots and making a target drop to their death). In true spirit of the Hitman series, shooting in stealth and hiding the bodies gives you points as well. Your best score goes on to the leaderboards to show how much of a bad-ass sniper you are.

Although Hitman Sniper will be free to download; you can use real money to buy upgrades if you don’t feel like grinding for in-game money. But the developers insist that you can play the game regularly and still get those upgrades.

No release date is set, but Hitman Sniper will be out for both iOS and Android.
