Hype Inbound: Halo Returns!

Halo 2 is back, and it’s brought company.
E3 2014 has come and gone. As with every year, announcements were made, and lives were changed. This year was very special to me and a very select group of gamers that felt like we have been forgotten. Rumors flew around for months, and then we were teased for weeks before E3! It was well worth the anticipation once we got to the middle of the Microsoft conference.
“To give the Covenant back their bomb.” I literally jumped up out of bed and nearly through the ceiling! If there was one thing needed to revive a community that had all but given up hope it was this! Halo 2 is arguably the absolute best game in the series next to Combat Evolved of course. Not only are we allowed to play the full campaigns of Halo 1-4 in absolutely stunning high definition, but we get the full multi-player as well! Can anyone say BXR?
This is not just for the Halo fans, this is an opportunity for others to break the monotony of modern day military shooters. Halo 2‘s online is an experience not seen since Modern Warfare came out and shook up the first-person shooter landscape. There aren’t any load outs or kill streaks. Everyone starts out with the same weapons, and if you want an advantage, you’ll have to beat your opponent to the weapon spawns around the map. Just the thought of playing Halo 2 online again gets me hype!
The Master Chief Collection, also brings us the entire main story of the chief himself. For those upset over the lack of story in shooters, look no further. From beginning to end, Halo has a story that’s easy to get into, with characters that you will love long after. On top of that, there’s not a re-used scene in sight! Not only is it a good time to be a Halo fan, it is an amazing time to be a gamer. I can not wait until I can get my hands on the Master Chief Collection this November 11th!
