Mobile Games to Main Event World Cyber Arena

DoTA 2 is taking a back seat

With the World Cyber Games now out of the picture, the WCA looks to replace them as gaming’s form of the Olympics. This will be a yearly event held in China. The first edition, set for October,  will feature over 3,000 players, and around $3.2 million in prizes.

DoTA 2, Hearthstone, World of Tanks, CrossFire, and Warcraft 3 will be played at the event. However, the majority of the prize money will be going to two Chinese mobile games.

The WCA will award around half a million dollars in prize money to the champions of the Dota Legend and CQB Online tournaments respectively.

Also known as "NverM0re," and often referred to as "1337Joka, the Clown Prince of Gaming." Well not really, but it sounds nice! He specializes in breaking every game he plays down to a mad science. More known on Youtube for his trading card game knowledge. However, the raven is most often found perched in front of a fast paced shooter, controller in hand.
