New 3DS Announced And It Blows The Current Line Up Away

Nintendo takes it back to the old school with these new 3DS designs.
The 3DS has enjoyed immense success with a very basic package. The 3DS platform has had the same control scheme pretty much since its inception with the original DS fat. But today Nintendo changed the game during their Nintendo Direct showcase.
With new, more intense games coming out and people demanding bigger and better every year; Nintendo has revamped the 3DS and given it a host of new features that could really change the game.
The most obvious change comes in the addition of a C stick nub. Its a welcome addition and adds new dimension to the DS platform. Now games that are dependent on camera controls can be easily manipulated with said nub. And for Super Smash Bros. 3DS it will be a massive help and will no doubt shift a bunch of units because of it.
A new faster CPU expands the capability of the handheld, allowing for more expansive games to be played on it. This is awesome news for fans of the 3DS platform, but does it mean that current owners will be forced to upgrade to play the latest and greatest 3DS games?
It’s also got a nifty NFC receiver built in which considering the social nature of Nintendo’s handhelds, could be an awesome feature. The web browser will support HTML 5 and the stereoscopic 3D effect has been enhanced to allow for greater viewing angles.
Is this latest version of the 3DS, the greatest, it seems so. Nintendo is also referencing the old school this time around. The white “New 3DS” will be modeled after the classic Super Famicom controller. And the LL version is based on the Gamcube controller. It seems like Nintendo is bringing back their roots.
