NYCC Hands-On: Tetris Ultimate

An all-new twist on the Tetris formula drops in.

NYCC Hands-On: Tetris Ultimate

For those who have have played current versions of Tetris, its newest installment, Ultimate is not too different from the what is out there now. Well, aside it from being on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. It has the common game modes from recent versions of Tetris (Sprint, Battle, Marathon, etc.) with some minor tweaks to the gameplay. For the console version, it looks like they have reduced the window that show the next four pieces a down to just one piece (the Nintendo 3DS version seems still have the 4-next-piece window). Unless your last time playing Tetris was the NES era, expect not too much new.

Tetris Ultimate comes out for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo 3DS in November.
