Paying Respects to a Fallen Player, RIP Nelson “Remix” Reyes

You will be missed. . .

On behalf of our friends and colleagues at Empire Arcadia, Put That Back wishes to extend its personal respects to Nelson “EMP Remix” Reyes, one of the most personable individuals we had the pleasure of knowing in the fighting game community. This evening, Nelson, who was only 28, passed away from a medical condition, according to reports closest to him on Twitter.

His presence and contribution was without a doubt, unprecedented, infectious.

The following memorium below is being republished by CEO and Founder, Isaiah TriForce Johnson. May your soul be in a happier place. Please leave any fond memories of Nelson below, if you like or on the following Twitter accounts at @EMPRemix and .

Update: A fundraiser has been set up to aid Nelson’s family with memorial expenses. The link is available here.

Today a loyal and loved member of the  family was lost. R.I.P.  our condolences to his immediate family. “He lived his life to the fullest. I’m happy to have known him. All he wanted was to play video games and enjoy the company of his friends and family.

He did just that this weekend. Hanging out with Cole Tocci, Samantha Hancock, Kevin Landon, James Fink, Christopher Gonzalez, Erin Diaz, Michael Dicks and more playing games and watching the Lord of the Rings Marathon. All Hail Emp Remix. Empire Arcadia will make sure that you are not forgotten and follow out your last request. Make EMP successful and keep the family alive.”
