PS4 2.0 Drops Tomorrow

Wait, what, Sony... You mean we have choices now!?

PS4 2.0 Drops Tomorrow

The day is here, well almost here; some of the features we were promised were in the pipeline for the PS4 are finally arriving. On the heels of the announcement of the Xbox One price drop and the catastrophic implosion of Driveclub. The Sony camp is desperate for some good news.

This update could be the news we all wanted. Share Play, kind of like DS Dowload play for the original Nintendo DS; allows for cooperative play between friends on two separate consoles. Even allowing other players to jump into your game and take over if you allow it.

The PS4 also is finally getting two things that early adopters desperately wanted. First being the ability to change themes for the PS4. At the moment only themes from the store can be used with the PS4 but it’s progress right. Also USB music support will finally be added so USB devices loaded up with music can finally be played through the PS4. It also allows users to get around Sony’s Music Unlimited service (which isn’t bad but In my opinion doesn’t offer much over Spotify).

Is this update the quantum leap forward for the PS4 we hope it will be? We will find out tomorrow if Greatness Awaits.
