Riot Games Looking to Create Jobs

Players still need to work after they retire. Riot has got their backs.

Riot Games is taking measures to ensure professional League of Legends players have careers in eSports after they retire from playing. This comes from Jason Yeh, Riot’s head of EU eSports.

Age is of importance to most eSports players. In League of Legends for instance, most players start at age 17. Most choose to retire in their mid-20s.

Previous retired players have moved on to working on the game as designers. However, Riot is also working to help players maintain their personal brand long after they retire from playing.
