PSN crippled by cyber vigilantes. 

This might bring back memories to the Anonymous hack back during 2011, and may have ruined many a gamers’ Sunday. But PSN services have been interrupted by a wide spread cyber attack currently underway.

A group known as the “Lizard Squad” have begun a massive DDoS attack that has caused massive service disruptions across all Playstation platforms. Scheduled maintenance was planned for tomorrow but this was clearly unexpected on Sony’s part.

“Lizard Squad” is making bold claims about their actions on their twitter . Sony claims there has been no major disruption of service, but at the time of writing this, I am currently unable to access the PSN on either PS3, Vita or PS4.

While, somehow Riot and Blizzard are seemingly unaffected by their attacks.
