Does this mean free Twitch Emoticons w/ Amazon Prime? 

Well isn’t this bit of information surprising. One of this Summer’s big speculations in the gaming community was that there was a 1 billion dollar deal for Google to buy TwitchTV outright. But today, a bit of information was announced that what we predicted may not be the case. Read on.

According to an article thrown up by information put together by arstechnica.com, Google will have no part in this $1,000,000,000 transaction. Instead, Amazon, your provider for online goods everywhere, will be sealing the deal to buy TwitchTV for one billion bones.

With numerous sourcer confirming the trade, including The Wall Street Journal & Bloomberg, this announcement couldn’t be anything more than true. Those same sources claim that a representative reported that the mass amount of information regarding this deal could be disclosed to the public as soon as today.
