Square Enix Announces Life is Strange

What would you do if you could change the flow of events based upon a premonition? Come next January, players will learn about what choice and consequence in the upcoming narrative adventure title Life is Strange. Developed by Dontnod Entertainment, players will be introduced to a five-part episodic series that seeks to "revolutionize" games based upon our how actions can have a significant effect on the final outcome.

Life is Strange has been described as a slick virtual drama title with tones of The Walking Dead, Gone Home with a time-travel concept mixed in to spice things up. Based upon what the trailer footage, the heroine (Max) has a premonition about something tragic and somehow finds a way to travel back to the past to prevent the event from ever taking place. However, when Max returns back to the current day era, her reality is dramatically changed (apparently for the worst) and must find a way to deal with changing how events unfold.

The first episode is slated to drop on the PC as well as all current and next-gen consoles (sans the Wii U) on January 30, 2015.

We've also have the first featured trailer to give you a small glimpse of the title's storyline.
