XB1 Streaming On Twitch Isn’t Ready for Prime Time Just Yet

Company wants to ensure the service is “seamlessly implemented”

While Microsoft has pledged to incorporate new features to refine certain features within Xbox One in the immediate future, streaming your adventures in Killer Instinct or Call of Duty will apparently take a bit longer than expected.

According to the official Twitch account on Twitter, the actual launch date still remains up in the air, before it becomes available to the public.

Just before the system launch in November, Microsoft released an official statement via Xbox Wire that the streaming service would be delayed. Many expected that things would get underway when the new year rolled around, seeing as PlayStation 4’s integration was already available.

Twitch expressed to Polygon shortly after their tweet was posted:

“We understand that the broadcasting component of Twitch is very important, and it is a major focus on our roadmap as we work to ensure it is seamlessly implemented into our Xbox One experience over the coming months.”
