Super Arcade Inserts Another Credit After Kickstarter Campaign Takes Off

A legendary arcade needs your support.
Mike Watson, owner and operator of the esteemed and now historic Super Arcade, in Walnut California has been agonizing over the fate of his baby. Home to Wednesday Night Fights and other weekly and monthly competitive gaming events, Super Arcade is one of Southern California’s premier venues.
In an age where it’s the norm to play from home, operating a business built around socializing while gaming is has always been a gamble. Gone are the days of old, when arcades were everywhere. Mike Watson has sacrificed more than most would to keep Super Arcade alive. With the launch of the Super Arcade Kickstarter page they (at the time of writing) have raised over twenty three thousand dollars. With fourty four days to go.
The success of this campaign will lead to massive renovations and a reorganization of the Super Arcade business model. From donation incentives ranging from fat sacks of tokens (and who doesn’t love tokens) to marquees and dual modded sticks. Watson and the Super Arcade crew are pulling out all the stops to ensure that this is a success.
All the best to them out in SoCal.
