The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses NYC Experience

The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses NYC Experience

The Legend Comes to Life in NYC

Zelda has brought on many dedicated fans for over 25 years and now has shared the legend through a new exciting multimedia experience to the world through the beautiful tool of music  from the entire Legend of Zelda franchise. For now over a year of touring world-wide, The Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses stopped by this fall in November for life time fans and symphony goers alike to relive their favorite moments from Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker , Twilight Princess, A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening and many more. Zelda Fans and Nintendo fans from all over the city and even different states came to enjoy the structured program, composed by Eimean Noone and creator Jeron Moore.

We were able to catch back up with one of Zelda and Nintendo’s number one supporter, Isaiah “TriForce” Johnson, hence the name. Last time we had a one on one with TriForce was before his journey to become the first in the world to obtain a Wii U , which he accomplished on launch while waiting a month in advance. Well now the game master and Guinness World Record setter share his experience with PTB and gives us a sneak peek and takes  us along one of his “Gamer’s Life” experience to give us a closer look of what took place during  The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Take a look at the video and responses to the Legend of Zelda Symphony live experience through the art of music.

This is your second run seeing the Zelda Symphony, how was the  NY Experience vs LA’s during E3 ?

Being able to attend both the first American Symphony in LA for the 25th Anniversary cannot be compared to the Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses coming to New York. Although the 25th anniversary was a unique experience, Madison Square Garden is the greatest stage to perform on the planet. They both will be the most memorable experiences for me and I urge anyone who has not experienced this symphony; gamer or not you should check it out.

The Symphony was in New York City Before , at  Nintendo World at the location where you obtained the first Wii U Sold , were you able to attend that as well, if so how did it differ ?

The Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses demo tour at Nintendo World was just an appetizer for the main course at Madison Square Garden. I felt teased but it was still a great experience.

As a lifetime Zelda fan what has been the most memorable song from the beloved franchise ?

Believe it or not…The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Main theme. It’s really the Zelda Lullaby from Ocarina of Time played backwards. Before this, it was the original Zelda theme. I find it ironic that I loved the main theme as my number 1 Zelda song for so long that it took the last song presently; to change it. It’s almost as if Nintendo was able to personify “adventure” into the song and I love adventure.

Nintendo is one of the longest most successful video game brands alive, you mentioned in the video of how the Nintendo Community is, is this the key ?

[pullquote_right]Nintendo is more than just a video game company to me, it’s a culture. [/pullquote_right]Nintendo has contributed positively to the world in so many aspects to their gaming fans; from video game inspired clothing, to video game themed foods, performing arts, charities, music and much more. Throughout my years I feel honored to not only experience some of these activities that Nintendo has given back to society at large but also lend a hand in helping in some of them.

I feel that  Sound/Music is the heart of a video game because it sets the feel, what are your thoughts ?

Music has always been an important part of any society as it is one of the universal languages. It helps in expressing video games and helps to immerse gamers into the world that designers and developers have set out to create for gamers to experience.
