PTB is always on the lookout for guest writers to contribute articles. Our belief is that everyone has something unique to share, and if you are interested in contributing, our doors our open. Read on to find out what type of content may be submitted for consideration:
- News – although we don’t specialize in rehasing an extensive amount of industry current events, the content should be timely and relevant to video games, competitive gaming, or tech-related topic.
- Opinions – critical thinking and unique perspectives based on any broad range of topics featured on the site.
- Reviews – personalized insight based upon the latest console, handheld or PC mediums released via retail or digital distribution channels.
Each post must be 100% original and may not be published on other websites or print publications. Authors should fully disclose any and all past and present commercial relationships to companies and people mentioned in their articles. PTB retains exclusivity of the article for 24 hours after it’s featured on the site. Authors can republish the articles on their personal blogs with attribution to the original post and should obtain PTB’s consent before reposting the content on any third-party websites.
If you’re submission is approved for publishing, the post will be edited/copy-edited by PTB. Content may be adjusted to adhere to PTB’s style guidelines and, if necessary, edit the post for length. Authors may link to their social media profiles and personal blogs, but reserves the right to remove any third-party affiliate links. Your submission is subject to review by PTB and does not guarantee automatic publication on the site. By submitting your post to PTB, you acknowledge and agree to adhere to our editorial guidelines and grand permission for us to edit your work.
So what should you write about?
Some of the best content is easily produced when you’re passionate about a particular topic. If you have a variety of things you want to discuss, narrow it down and consider submitting one entry at a time before you consider contributing on a consistent basis. You are welcome to reach out to us to pitch any ideas before submitting, but we advise potential authors to tailor their content to meet what is currently featured on the site.
Each article should naturally consist of a headline and a short, creative sentence that serves as the “tagline”.
How long should my content be?
Generally, your material shouldn’t exceed 2,000 words – if anything, strive to keep your article between 500 – 1000 words. Whenever possible, strive to be concise, yet personable. Remember, you are welcome to post a link to your blog and social networks. Please be sure to provide the proper links when you submit your entry.

In the event that you receive any reader comments or questions about your posts – be sure to engage others and respond to any feedback. Your content will be promoted via our respective social networks, but you are also welcome to share within your own personal networks as well for increased exposure. PTB will reach out to you with a specific timeframe when your content will be featured online (if approved).
